Yin yoga focuses on the deep connective tissues of the body. These tissues don’t stretch the muscles but exercise the bones and joints inside the body. Yin is a highly meditative practice and there are many benefits to it including feelings of calm and balance, regulated energy levels and reduced stress, greater strength and flexibility, and improved overall health.
