AcroYoga Workshop

Emelia Symington Fedy Unleash your inner acrobat and realize the infinite potential of your yoga practice! This workshop will begin with acrobatic inversions, strength training and partner acrobatics. We will cover the AcroYoga fundamentals and then move into practicing intermediate dynamic flying flows.
Participants will learn all three roles-- base, flyer, and spotter- to encourage understanding, receptivity, and trust. The class will end in the metta practice of giving and receiving thai massage. Be prepared to get your sweat on. Learn that anything is possible and practice with the only certified AcroYoga teacher in Canada.
Open to yogis of all levels, you must be comfortable being upside down. Bring a partner or meet a new one here. Previous AcroYoga experience is not necessary. Email emelia@acroyoga.org with questions.
Breathwork Joyshop

Aman & Jai In this Joy shop you will practice breathwork (pranayama), also known as Conscious Energy Breathing, incorporating specific warm-up yoga exercises, breathing techniques, visualizations and a chakra meditation. You will also have an opportunity to journal and share your experience.
Breathwork is a gentle, safe and profound tool for healing and transformation on all levels—physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
This practice will increase the available energy in your physical body, improve your clarity of mind and allow for a release of suppressed or blocked emotional energy to gently uplift your spirit.
It uses ancient breathing techniques (lying down) that have been utilized in many cultures around the world for healing and attaining higher states of consciousness. For many thousands of years, yogis, saints and sages alike have expounded on the power and importance of the breath to bring us to greater awareness and presence.
